Accessing Starfish

Login to MyGatway and locate the “tools” section on the left-hand side. Expand the “Student Tools” tab and click on “Starfish”

What can I do with Starfish?

Students can use Starfish to find and connect with campus resources using the Tiles in their My Success Network link on their Dashboard. Students can also use the Ask for Help feature to ask questions about campus resources and services.

What are KUDOS?

Kudos are a way for faculty to provide students with positive feedback about their academic performance.

If you have questions about a specific Kudos you received, we encourage you to reach out to the professor directly!

What are "Plans" in Starfish?

Plans are a series of To Do items or Referrals that can be assigned to you by a program like Promise or Teacher Pathways. These help guide you in your journey at Fullerton College.

If you have questions about a plan, we encourage you to connect with the program who assigned it to you for more information!
You may also connect with the Guided Pathways office for more information.

What is a "Service Title" and where do I find them?

A Service Tile is a feature on Starfish that includes a block of information for a department and/or service at Fullerton College. There are multiple “Service Tiles” in Starfish with contact information to departments and services throughout campus.

“Service Tiles” can be found by clicking My Success Network link on the My Connections or My Services box on the Starfish dashboard. From there, click the show other services button to access all of the Fullerton College Service Tiles.

Is there a Starfish app for my phone?

At this time, there is not a mobile app for Starfish.

The developers have made it where Starfish can be zoomed into if you access it through a mobile device.
We will notify students if an app becomes available to download.
