Pathways Steering Committee

Mission and Purpose

The Pathways Steering Committee provides oversight and guidance for initiatives facilitated by the Guided Pathways Office including the First Year Experience (FYE) program, Starfish, Mindful Growth, OER/ZTC, Program Mapper, and Hornet Pathways. The PSC reports to both Faculty Senate and the President’s Advisory Council (PAC).

More than 450 faculty and staff gathered in the Campus Theatre for the 2018 Spring Convocation where the discussion focused on the state’s new Guided Pathways initiative.

During Spring Convocation, Professor Joe Carrithers led a Q& A about Guided Pathways with Theresa Tena, Executive Vice Chancellor Institutional Effectiveness and Innovation at the CCC Chancellor’s Office, and Janet Fulks, Bakersfield College faculty member and ASCCC Faculty Lead on Guided Pathways Capacity Building.
